Life in a Wave is a project born to offer moments of well-being and lightness to people of all ages.
Our working tools are: Yoga, Mermaiding, Plantar Reflexology and Massages.
We also tailor personalized Synergic Wellness Packages and Synergistic Wellness Events in unique locations immerse in the nature in collaboration with holistic practitioners at structures (Bed & Breakfast, Hotels, and associations dedicated to wellness), in order to offer to our customers regenerating, rewarding and relaxing experiences. We come to your home, schools, associations and businesses, for one to one or groups.
KATE ANIKA DEVI
Founder and President of Life in a Wave
Following her graduation in Economics of Financial Intermediaries and Markets at Luigi Bocconi University, for twenty years Kate worked for various companies and multinationals in Miami (Florida), Milan, Den Haag (Holland) and in the Principality of Monaco, while, in her free time, cultivated the passion for holistic therapies and wellbeing.
During the years spent at the desk, she witnessed the impact that office routines, daily stress and long hours spent in closed spaces have on an increasing number of people: nervous breakdowns, depression, eating disorders, circulation problems, anxiety, heart attacks, inability to manage emotions, spinal column pathologies, just to name a few.
Hence Kate’s decision to change her lifestyle, before the corporate wheel broke her body and spirit, and to create Life in a Wave, a beacon of hope and light, a break in today’s madness, a window open on the soul.
Professional Training
Kate has been practicing yoga for 15 years. In 2017, she obtains her Yoga Teacher Certification (Yoga Alliance; CSEN; UISP – RYT 400) at Samadhi School of Yoga in Milan (Italy).
In 2018 she obtains her Queen Mermaid Instructor Diploma with FIAS (Italian Federation of Underwater Activities) together with Rescue, BLSD (Basic Life Support and Defibrillation) e Bio-Snorkelling Certifications. Kate is a swimming teacher, and has practice Synchronize Swimming for four years.
She is a qualified practitioner of Swedish Wellbeing Massage from the Bertrand Poncet School (France) and is a member of the French Federation of Wellness Massage.
She is continuing her education in Naturopathy at S.I.M.O., Italian School of Holistic Medicine in Milan (Italy), where she has already obtained her Reflexology and Holistic Massage Certifications.
In 2018 she furthers her studies in Reflexology under Gabriella Cerato, and obtains a second certification in Reflexology and Metamorphic Reflexology at Planeos Association in Genova (Italy)
