How the class is structured

A GROUP LESSON LASTS 90 MINUTES. EACH LESSON IS DIVIDED INTO THREE PARTS:

The Yoga teacher

Kate Anika Devi

Kate, founder of Life in a Wave, is a certified teacher of Anukalana Yoga, Integral Yoga. Kate Anika has been practicing yoga since the 1990s and obtained her yoga teacher certification (Yoga Alliance; CSEN; UISP – RYT 400) in 2017 at the Samadhi School of Yoga in Milan (Italy). She continues her training in Naturopathy at S.I.M.O., the Italian School of Holistic Medicine in Milan, where she has already obtained her Certifications in Reflexology and Holistic Massage. Benefits of yoga practice

THE PRACTICE LEADS THE STUDENT TO FEEL REFRESHED, INVIGORATED, VITAL, SERENE, TO LEARN TO KNOW HIS OWN BODY, THE SPACE IN WHICH IT MOVES, TO REMAIN IN THE “HERE AND NOW”.

The body’s resistances are read as starting points. The practice is shaped according to the needs of the individual student, respecting the uniqueness of the physical structure, state of health, age and level.

During the lesson, it is explained how to protect the joints and the spine during the practice; one learns to flow through the asanas dissolving physical and energetic blocks, favoring the flow of body fluids and energy restoring balance.

With regular practice and patience, students learn to move through the world with balance and harmony in all daily activities.

The increase in flexibility of the body goes hand in hand with that of the mind: just as the body learns to flow from one position to another, so the individual who practices consistently learns to flow in life, dissolving emotional, behavioral and mental rigidity.

The times and days of individual yoga classes are agreed on a case-by-case basis according to your needs. The classes are held at the Yoga Studio, at your home* or online.
